Adapteo Group has signed an agreement to acquire Degotte, a well-established Belgian modular space solutions company with a strong local presence in a market where demand for flexible, high-quality modular space solutions continues to grow. The transaction is expected to close end of October 2026.

The acquisition marks an important step in Adapteo’s continued growth in Europe and strengthens its ability to provide high-quality, adaptable space solutions for social infrastructure. Degotte brings more than 40 years of experience in modular spaces, with a strong track record in delivering tailored buildings for public sector, defence, education, healthcare, and other institutional environments. Based in Herstal, Belgium, the company has completed more than 2,000 projects and delivered over 6,000 modules across Belgium and Luxembourg.

“Degotte is a company with strong local roots and deep customer relationships in a Belgian market with clear growth potential. By joining forces, we are creating a stronger platform in Belgium, Luxembourg and the wider Benelux region, while expanding our ability to serve customers across Europe. We see significant opportunities to combine Degotte’s craftsmanship and market knowledge with Adapteo’s scale, network and circular business model. Together, we will be even better positioned to deliver adaptable spaces where communities can thrive,” says Johanna Persson, President and CEO of Adapteo Group.

The acquisition combines Adapteo’s strong foothold in The Netherlands with Degotte’s deep-rooted presence in Belgium and Luxembourg, creating a truly pan-Benelux platform for continued regional growth. Degotte has built its reputation on technical know-how and years of experience. Their strength lies in the quality of their work, very healthy client relationships, and close understanding of local needs. As part of Adapteo Group, Degotte will have the support to grow faster and serve customers at greater scale. The transaction also reinforces the companies’ shared focus on high-specification, long-duration modular rental solutions for public and social infrastructure.

“Joining Adapteo is a natural next step for Degotte. We have built our company around quality and long-term customer relationships, and we see strong alignment with Adapteo’s values and ambitions. With the support of a larger European platform, we will be able to accelerate our development while continuing to serve our customers with the same commitment and proximity that define Degotte,” says Vincent Parmentier, CEO of Degotte.

Degotte will continue to build on its strong local presence, supported by Adapteo’s broader organization, operational capabilities and commitment to high-quality circular space solutions.
